BADS Annual Conference 2026 - Registration

 

 

The British Association of Day Surgery is very pleased to announce the opening of registration for the BADS Annual Conference 2026 which will take place at The Royal Society Of Medicine, London on 4th and 5th June.

 

 

 

If you are registering with an NHS email we would advise you input an additional email to avoid our communications being redirected to your junk inbox, this can sometimes occur due to the NHS fire wall.

Conference Registration Fees:

 Allied Health Professionals / Nurses / Resident Doctors -

BADS Members: £270 early bird / £300 regular
Non-members: £340 early bird / £380 regular

 

Consultant / SAS grade doctors - 

BADS Members: £360 early bird / £400 regular
Non-members: £495 early bird / £550 regular

 

Full time students -

£180 early bird / £200 regular

EMD code of conduct

EMD is focused on creating quality events within safe and respectful environments for all attendees to share knowledge, express their thoughts and opinions and network.  Our code of conduct requires all attendees, stakeholders and exhibitors to act in a manner that is respectful of all people in a public environment, be it gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, race or religion. 

 

We insist that speakers’ presentations and content offered in the various formats within the event be respectful and devoid of content/images of a sexual or discriminatory nature.

 

The code of conduct also refers to:

  • Unwanted or inappropriate approaches of a sexual nature
  • Aggressive behaviour toward any EMD staff or other delegates
  • Offensive comments, questions or posts made on event engagement technology, or in-person during question and answer sessions
  • Rude or unnecessary comments on online media platforms

 

All attendees are reminded to act in a responsible manner in regard to alcohol consumption and be respectful of the environment and those around them who do not consume alcohol.

 

Any children in attendance at the event are the sole responsibility of the parent or carer.

 

Any attendee that is deemed to be violating the code of conduct may be asked to leave the event without refund, at the discretion of the Organiser/Society.

Payment

If you require an invoice for your organisation to pay on your behalf you will need to complete the invoice request form attached to your confirmation email, your booking will not be confirmed until this has been received. 

Please note that after 6th May 2026 the invoice option will no longer be available.

BADS is a mutual society, existing for the benefit of its members.  We therefore pay corporation tax on any income from non-members. In order to cover this additional burden, the registration fees for non-members are higher than for members. Please note that you can become a member of the society before registration to keep costs down just visit our website www.bads.co.uk .

Cancellation requests must be made in writing to enquiries@eventmanagementdirect.co.uk before 7th May 2026. Cancellations made at least 28 days before the conference start date will be 80% refunded (a 20% administration fee applies). No refunds will be offered for cancellations made within 28 days of the conference date or failure to attend the conference. In exceptional circumstances a refund of 80% of the conference fee, may be granted for cancellations within 28 days of the conference. Any such applications will be considered by BADS on an individual basis and the applying delegate will need to provide evidence of such by email to enquiries@eventmanagementdirect.co.uk as soon as possible.
