Preoperative Association Foundation Course

The Preoperative Association is delighted to announce a new Foundation Course for Preoperative Assessment Nurses. This 3 day Foundation Course consists of 3 days of face-to-face small group teaching.

The Foundation training will cover the core skills required for effective patient assessment in the preoperative clinic. This course is suitable for all band 5 or 6 nurses working in the field of POA, independent or NHS sectors. Allied professionals such as Pharmacists / ODPs are also welcome to attend.

Teaching will be delivered by the Preoperative Association Council. A unique inter-professional team of national experts in Preoperative Assessment - nurses, anaesthetists and Pharmacists.

The 3 day face-to-face small group teaching will consolidate the information of the Foundation course with case scenarios and problem solving.

Venue: Chichester Medical Education Centre, St. Richard's Hospital, West Wing, Spitalfield Ln, Chichester PO19 6SE

Please note: There will be an additional £30 charge per delegate for invoice payments
